17-4PH bushing produced by centrifugal casting is ready to be shipped
17-4PH bushing manufactured by centrifugal casting is one of our 2019 projects going to be shipped to the company in U.S.A. which is mainly producing bearing parts.
Few months ago, they contacted us directly to purchase one of our 17-4PH sample back to their foundry to do the tests. Since the testing result is satisfying, they placed the order of our 17-4PH bushings in April 2019.
Once we get the new project, we confronted the challenge again.
In this project, the machining is the most difficult part. We put much effort to get the standards and customer’s expectation.
Regarding the hardness of 17-4PH bushings, the requirement is 33 HRC based on 1150 degree Celsius. For us, it is not difficult to reach the level customer requested.
17-4PH is one of the stainless steel materials we produce frequently. We are very familiar with the characteristics of this material. We got several projects of 17-4PH material in the past years including pipes, rings and bushings by centrifugal casting. Because those customers’ higher requirements, we made much progress in 17-4PH production and the development of the physical properties.
If customers need the material with high hardness and corrosion resistance, 17-4PH manufactured by centrifugal casting will be able to be taken into account.
