Our radiant tubes (high-temperature tube) are used in heat-treatment plants worldwide.  HK, HP and HU high-temperature tubes are produced at our foundry more often than other grades.  How to choose the right material? It depends on the operating hours and temperature.  In the normal condition, the lifetime of our radiant tube (high-temperature tube) is around or over 5 to 6 years.

 

In addition to ASTM A297 heat-resistant alloys, Nickel-based alloys are used in severer and higher temperature environment.  For aero industry, the nickel-based alloy products (high-temperature tube / component) are able to be show the superior strength of mechanical properties when applying in extreme high temperature condition.  For energy industry, the nickel-based alloy products ( high-temperature tube / component) perform the excellent oxidation resistance in the high temperature.

 

Different companies might develop their own heat-resistant alloys or the proportion of alloying elements could be slightly different.

For common high-temperature tubes, ASTM A297 alloys will be satisfying.  However, you might need nickel-based high temperature tube for special environment.
