Seamless steel pipes compared
The appearance of seamless steel pipe is really similar to centrifugally cast tube/pipe.
However, the manufacturing process is totally different.
In the manufacturing process of the seamless steel pipe, a solid and round steel billet would be heated, stretched and pulled over a form until it becomes a tube with a hollow.

When it comes to the strength between seamless steel pipe and centrifugally cast tube/pipe, there is almost no difference when manufacturing in the condition with high quality control.
But, some customers still would choose centrifugally cast tubes instead of seamless steel ones. The reasons are as follow.
1. It is more cost-effective when manufacturing small quantity by centrifugal casting.
2. The centrifugal casting alloys are various and flexible.
3. Both dimension and chemical composition of material can be customized when using centrifugal casting.
4. Heat-resistant alloys can be used for producing centrifugal castings only.
