Why Centrifugal Casting

LAWAI manufactures stainless steel casting tube by centrifugal casting

In the centrifugal casting process, the pure metal structure is created and the impurities would be driven from the front of the solidification to the inside surface by centrifugal force. Once the slag is machined, the casting tube with fine grain structure is formed. Thus, LAWAI uses the centrifugal casting technique to manufacture the stainless steel casting tube/components instead of other casting methods.

  • Better physical properties- denser grained structure
  • Longer lifetime
  • Cost saving
  • Flexibility of production

Provide Customized Alloy? Yes, various materials can be cast. No, there is the limitation of material selection. No, there is the limitation of material selection.
Great quality?
  • Yes, the products are clean and pure because the solidification under the high speed rotation.
  • The surface is without the porosity.
  • The strength is high.
  • The grain structure is directed.

Possible for small order quantity?
Competitive price?
Yes, small quantity would not change the price. No, the cost of mold is high and the price would be competitive only when ordering several ton order weights. No, it is not suitable for small quantity production.
Cost advantage? Yes, it's more cost-effective. No. It's cost-effective for "large" order quantity.
