In order to provide larger diameter rings manufactured by centrifugal casting to our customers, new vertical centrifugal casting machine was included in our capacity.
The maximum diameter of centrifugally cast ring produced by this vertical centrifugal casting machine is able to reach 1,000mm.
For us, producing larger diameter ring by centrifugal casting is not the dream anymore
Larger diameter rings were inquired often in these years.
Most customers used to purchase the larger diameter rings manufactured by forging. However, the cost was much higher compared with centrifugal casting. In order to decrease the cost, they will purchase the larger diamter rings produced by centrifugal casting instead.
The larger diameter rings manufactured by centrifugal casting would not waste the material and the mechanical properties are almost equal to forging, therefore more and more customers prefer centrifugally cast rings.
The maximum diameter of the ring we were able to produce was 600 mm before. But, we expanded our capacity to manufacture the centrifugally cast rings of the maximum diameter 1,000 mm.

Continuing making progress in producing rings by centrifugal casting
Larger diameter rings manufactured by centrifugal casting have been used for many aspects. One of the fields we are approaching is bimetallic larger diameter ring used in petrochemical industry. The customer needs more wear-resistant rings manufactured by centrifugal casting to replace the rings thy are using now.
The inner layer of bimetallic ring the customer using now is ceramic. Although the ceramic has the characteristics of wear-resistance, it is not good enough for the gas tranfer.
We are choosing the suitable inner layer material for this case to last the durability of the usage for this customer. Once the customer uses our bimetallic rings, they will not need to change the rings frequently. The centrifugally cast rings are the consumption product of the longer lifetime.
