Seamless steel tubes manufactured by centrifugal casting

When it comes to the manufacturing process of seamless steel tubes, maybe you will think of extruded tubes first.  Today, we would like to introduce another technique to produce seamless steel tubes.  This method is called centrifugal casting.

There is without the mateiral limitation for manufacturing the seamless steel tubes by centrifugal casting.(All materials are able to be cast).  But, stainless steel 300 & 400 series, stainless steel duplex 2205 & 2507, 17-4PH, Ni-resist Type 1, heat-resistant alloys and sueralloys are what we produce by centrifual casting technique mainly. 

All our seamless steel tubes are customized.  The range of diameter is 50~450 mm.  The min. thickness is 4.5 mm and the max. length is 4,000 mm.

Heat-resistant seamless steel tubes

Heat-resistant steel was designed for casting specification, therefore centrifugal casting is the wise choice to produce the heat-resistant seamless steel tubes.

It is not easy to purchase heat-resistant seamless steel tubes with lager diameters in Taiwan.  Most end users imported heat-resistant seamless steel tubes produced by extrusion method.  The prices were high and small quantity order was not possible.

However,  the heat-resistant seamless steel tubes produced by centrifugal casting are able to be customized by individual demand. The MOQ is able to be lower and it is good for customers to decrease the cost and the relieve the burden of stock.  

The radiant tubes worked in heat-treating plants are heat-resistant seamless steel tubes manufactured by centrifugal casting.  We, LAWAI have produecd the heat-resistant tubes by centrifugal casting for over three decadeds and most our radiant tubes were exported to Europe, both north and south America, Japan, middel east and some countries of southeastern Asia.

Superalloy seamless steel tubes

Incoloy 800H & 800HT  are the materials we produced succesfully. Our main clients are the the local petrochemical plants in Taiwan which used our INCOLOY 800H & 800HT tubes in the high temperature and higher pressure environement. 

For those plants, purchasing the superalloy seamless steel tubes from us directly is a good procurement strategy because they save much cost that means they do not need to import the Inconel 800H & 800HT tubes from other countries.  They could dicuss the requirements directly with us and lower the procurement risk. 
Now we, LAWAI not not produce shorter INCONEL 800H & 800HT tubes by centrifugal casting, but also the longer length, 3 meter to 4 mete for different applications. 

The development of superalloy seamless steel tubes at our foundry not only shows our capability but also provide other choices for customeers who need better corrosion and creep resistantance of high grade heat-resistant material.

Our ASTM A297 & ASTM A315 heat-resistant centrifugally cast tubes have been used widely by our international customers, and we believe our superalloy tubes will be rising star soon!
